Gold is a highly creative and dynamic individual with solid professional experience in the performing arts and the corporate landscape. She became involved in the theatre when she joined Tanghalang Ateneo in 1996, which eventually led to her transferring to the University of the Philippines to pursue a degree in Theatre Arts. Since then, she has also been exposed to corporate environments as an Account Manager, Executive Search Manager, and Corporate Trainer.
Her journey as a trainer began as a Communications Coach for Convergys Philippines in 2004. After which she joined Motivating Minds as a training assistant. As an up-and-coming trainer and speaker for TrainStation, Inc., she has earned a certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming as a practitioner and continues to help corporations move towards their goals through targeted training programs. Among the companies she has worked with are: Coca-Cola, Globe, San Miguel Corporation, AXA, Samsung, Belo Medical Group, 3M, Jollibee, Shell, and many more.
Her skills in client relations, training and development, customer service, and business development were honed in the Business Process Outsourcing, Performing Arts, and Marketing and Advertising industries. Highlights in her career include a stint in McCann-Erickson as an Account Manager, Account Manager for Executive Search for ExcelAsia Training and Development, and Resident Production Manager for Repertory Philippines. Today, she also works as a Coach, Freelance Voice Actor, Production Specialist, Writer, and Safety Officer for shoots and live events.
Her theater credits include: PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST AS FILIPINO (Cora) for World Theater Project; OEDIPUS REX (Choragos) and ANG INSPEKTOR HENERAL (Ana Andreyebna) for Dulaang UP; KAHAPON, NGAYON AT BUKAS: A SEDITIOUS LOVE MUSICAL (Koro), PANGARAP SA ISANG GABI NANG GITNANG TAG-ARAW (Agiw) and ANG MABUTING TAO NG SETSUAN
(Matandang Babae) for Tanghalang Ateneo; THE JOY LUCK CLUB (Multiple Roles), THE SECRET GARDEN (Claire Holmes/Ensemble) for Repertory Philippines; THE WIZARD OF OZ (Munchkin, Ozian, Winged Monkey), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Ribbon, Tearholder, Oyster, Card), PINOCCHIO (Angelina, Ensemble), SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS (Blubber the Dwarf) for Rep’s Theater for Young Audiences, and; DESDEMONA: A PLAY ABOUT A HANDKERCHIEF (Desdemona) for VivaManila. Her portrayal of Mary Smith in Rep’s RUN FOR YOUR WIFE earned her an Aliw Award nomination for Best Actress in a Non-Musical. She has also been involved behind the scenes as an Assistant Director, Stage Manager, Production Manager, and in marketing and publicity for various productions.
