TRAINSTATION, INC. respects and values your data privacy rights, and makes sure that all personal data collected from you, our clients and customers, are processed in adherence to the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality. The provisions of this privacy policy applies to you when we receive your personal data upon registration of any learning event organized by us (TRAINSTATION, INC.) and is adopted in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other relevant policies, including issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

 

A.) WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

Here are some of the reasons why we collect your personal data:

1.) Registration and Attendance

 

We require the collection of personal data for the purpose of communicating with you about the details of our learning events you register for. Such details are in the form of announcements regarding the event (for any rescheduling, cancellations or changes) and reminders regarding the start of the said event. This personal data processing is based on our intention to maximize the overall experience level of the event.

2.) Announcement on Future Learning Events

 

This is an extension of our communication channel where we inform you of our future events that will be open for registration. These announcements can be in the form of SMS messages or Email based newsletters.

3.) Social Networking

 

If you would want to connect with us through our social media channels, you can add a link of your personal profile for us to lead you to the different social media channels that we have. You can opt to disconnect with our said channels for any reason. 

4.) Newsletters and Notifications

 

You will be subscribed automatically to our newsletter mailing list. We give informative and insightful newsletters per month that will be sent to the email address you provide. Our newsletters are integrated with an “unsubscribe” button should you want to stop receiving newsletters from us.

We may take photographs, screen caps and video materials at the event and as a participant you may appear on some materials. Such materials may be used on our webpage and social media channels.

C.) Log Files

 

TrainStation, Inc. follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

D.) Google DoubleClick DART Cookie

 

Google is one of a third-party vendors on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to www.website.com and other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL – https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on TrainStation, Inc., which are sent directly to users' browser. Note that TrainStation Inc. has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

All of the data collected by TrainStation, Inc. shall be used for purposes within the organization (As stated in provision A - Why we collect your personal data). All of the data collected will be kept in a digital address book and will not be shared with any entity outside of TrainStation, Inc.
